Closing ceremony will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 2 pm. At this time, certificates will be handed out and a wrap up meeting will be held. Anyone not registered and paid in full prior to August 20, 2026 will not be allowed to participate. Registration requires a payment of $425.

The 2026 Law Enforcement Fall Seminar will focus on search with utility vehicles, tactical and basic man-trailing within urban and wilderness areas, scent discrimination, scent articles, missing member, motor vehicle involvement and bailouts, negative trails, non-traditional trails, perimeter setup and night training. Itinerary will be posted at Northeast Houndsmen Facebook page. There will be a supper with cash bar at our annual fundraiser, included with registration.

● All participants are required to have current K9 Health records

● 6 Months of Training records required for certification.

I certify, under the pains and penalties of perjury, that the K9 listed on this application has current up-to-date health records and shots, including rabies. I also certify that the K9 listed has at least 6 months of current up-to-date training records.

Man-Trailing Seminar Administrative Policy

Law Enforcement Officers wishing to attend man-trailing classes must complete and submit an application to the Northeast Houndsmen.

  • Full payment is required at the time of application.

  • All payments are non-refundable.

  • Participants must sign a release and indemnification agreement prior to attending class.

  • Accommodations are not included.

  • Transportation to and from training areas is the responsibility of the participant.

  • Some meals may be provided during the training.
