Closing ceremony will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 2 pm. At this time, certificates will be handed out and a wrap up meeting will be held. Anyone not registered and paid in full prior to August 22, 2026 will not be allowed to participate. Registration requires a payment of $425. See payment information below this page.
The 2026 Law Enforcement Fall Seminar will focus on search with utility vehicles, tactical and basic man-trailing within urban and wilderness areas, scent discrimination, scent articles, missing member, motor vehicle involvement and bailouts, negative trails, non-traditional trails, perimeter setup and night training. Itinerary will be posted at Northeast Houndsmen Facebook page. There will be a supper with cash bar at our annual fundraiser, included with registration.

● All participants are required to have current K9 Health records
● 6 Months of Training records required for certification.
● Certifications shall be issued to Bloodhound Teams only, all others shall receive Certificate of Attendance.
I certify, under the pains and penalties of perjury, that the K9 listed on this application has current up-to-date health records and shots, including rabies. I also certify that the K9 listed has at least 6 months of current up-to-date training records.
Man-Trailing Seminar
Administrative Policy
Law Enforcement Officers wishing to attend man-trailing classes must complete and submit an application to the Northeast Houndsmen.
Full payment is required at the time of application.
All payments are non-refundable.
Participants must sign a release and indemnification agreement prior to attending class.
Accommodations are not included.
Transportation to and from training areas is the responsibility of the participant.
Some meals may be provided during the training.
